I’m just plain tired

Gee…What has happened in a course of a month? Not much. Shawn has come and gone, he didn’t win the trip to Phoenix, oh well, maybe some other time we will go.
Terry got his car back, all fixed up and almost like new.
I read a really good book over the weekend. “What’s eating Gilbert Grape” by Peter Hedges. I was surprised at how close the movie was to the book. The only thing I was disappointed with was the lack of an ending. I don’t know; I was expecting there to be more then the house burning. I found the book to give a more in-depth character to Gilbert then what the movie did. Not that Johnny Depp didn’t do a good job, but it got more into his head. I also realize that Arnie is better characterized in the movie then in pages. I dunno just my opinion.

Other than that nothing new, don’t have to work today. I work in Customer Service by myself on Sunday. I’m sure if I don’t quite that day I should be pretty close. I will most likely have a nervous breakdown.
I’m starting to analyze everything lately. I have realized that I have done NOTHING with my life in the past five years and I think it is finally starting to get to me. I feel so far in a rut I don’t know how to get out. I’m tired of being everyone’s fallback friend and only come to me when they want something. I’m also tired of being someone’s shadow. In the words of Tabitha’s Secret “I’m just plain tired”.
