The wheels on the bus go round and round......

So I am planning my first big trip of the summer, so its not going to be super big nor very far but it is a start. Shawn has been bugging me to go visit him, and I decided that the weekend after long should be good. I was going to drive but I have decided that driving in Saskatoon is not a good idea. I won't drive in Regina so I don't know what made me think I could drive in Saskatoon.
I plan on taking the bus and returning with Shawn on Sunday, which will give me 6 days with him, as apposed to only two, three tops.
This will be an awesome plan as long as everything works out on the P.O. front, if mom and Dad plan on going to Ontario on the long weekend then I can't leave till late and that means a one hour layover in Saskatoon...not cool.

The cutest kitten has the sharpest claws...

So not much is new here. Tarzan has still not returned, which is sad, because I miss him. He was and is a good cat. Casey (K.C.) is now in the house, and is a little evil monster, the other morning I was wakened by Sharp little claws and razor teeth in my foot. I think I would have preferred the alarm clock.
I feel bad for Momma Kitty because she seems to think all of her babies are in the house, only because when I took the other babies to town with me, Shawn brought them in the house first to put them in the basket. So now Momma Kitty had been bringing offerings of dead mice in exchange for her babies back. Last night at around 3 am I was woken up by Momma Kitty meowing through an open window at Casey, and Casey just sat there like, 'Hi, Mom!'
Dusty is finally starting to warm up to Casey, a lot faster than she did with Tarzan. The actually eat side by side, which NEVER happened with her and Tarzan.

One by one, the garden gnomes steal my sanity

So I have the Weekend off which is nice. Shawn will be home in about an hour, so that is also nice.
The really crappy thing is Tarzan is missing, he's been gone since Thursday afternoon, when some bag that came for mail let him out. Instead of trying to stop him, or at lest asking if he could go out she is like 'Oh, your cat is out.' At the time I didn’t make a big deal out of it cause he usually comes home in the evening and usually stays close to the yard, but he didn't come in and he is no where to be found. I spent most of yesterday looking for him, now I am coved in mosquito bites, probably wood ticks and scratched up legs from walking in the field behind us.
I really hope he comes home.
I was babysitting on Friday, which was amusing. Ashley decided that she was only going to eat cookies, so I had to hide them on her. I had fun doing her hair though. Surprisingly for a two-year old she sat amazingly still. She enjoyed feeding the kitties outside, although I think most of it stuck to her hand.
Other than that nothing new. If anyone has seen Tarzan let me know.

The adventures of Flat Stanley and other things

Not much new here. If anyone wants a kitty I have two that need a home. They’re both fuzzy, one is a calico and the other is a male that is black and gray. The little orange one is snow checked, in other words it has a home picked out I just have to litter train.
In other news, Shawn was home last week for a few days after the long weekend. It was nice he was home from Monday night till Saturday morning.
We have a visitor from Ontario right now, Flat Stanley. I'm sure everyone is thinking what the hell is she talking about. But Flat Stanley is a little man that was flatted by a bulletin board now travels by mail to go on an adventure, and my cousin that is in grade two sent him here for an adventure. I’d really like to know why we never got to do cool projects like that when I was in grade two. All he had to do is draw Flat Stanley and I have to write the story for him.
I had to break down and by a new watch. I was so not a happy camper. I really liked my old one. I miss it. The winder broke off and I took it to get fixed and the guy told me it would be cheaper to go buy a new one. I told him I wanted this one fixed. So ok they'll fix it. The guy phones me two days later telling that they can't get it fix cause it is to old. And just so he knows it was cheaper getting it fixed then buying a new one.
